The Grand Rapids Federation of Musicians is Local 56 of the American Federation of Musicians. We are a Union OF Professional Musicians, run BY Professional Musicians, FOR Professional Musicians.
The Grand Rapids Federation of Musicians (AFM Local 56) upholds the commitments made by the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) regarding diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and accessibility. We challenge discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, and other factors, and aim to uplift a diverse community in our jurisdiction and beyond.
