Conducted by John Varineau, the wind ensemble will perform Sousa's "Free Lance" March, Copland's "Inaugural Fanfare," Leo Sowerby's Variations on "Pop Goes the Weasel," and the premiere of Greg Scheer's "Grandfare," commissioned by AFM Local 56.
Quartet members Eric Tanner and Christopher Martin (violins), Barbara Corbató (viola), and Stacey Bosman Tanner (cello) will perform Franz Joseph Haydn's "Sunrise" String Quartet, Opus 76, Number 4.
John Kasica (percussion) and Paula Kasica (flute, piccolo, alto flute) will perform "Sweet Simplicity" by Rhonda Larson, "Ariadne and Dionysus" by Lou Harrison, and VIII. Yemaya from "Book of Goddesses" by Robert Patterson.
Jenna Buchner (violin), Leslie Van Becker (viola), Alicia Eppinga (cello), and Emily Grabinski (piano) will perform "Mornings in the Forest," "Flies and Butterflies," and "Evenings under the Oak" from the Opus 9 Piano Quartet by French composer Louise Héritte-Viardot (1841-1918).
Music for solo marimba, performed by David Hall.
Vocalist Mary Rademacher will perform selections from the Great American Songbook, with Tom Hagen (piano), Cherie Hagen (drums), Michael Lutley (saxophone), and Elgin Vines (bass).
Duke Ellington's "Sophisticated Lady," "Prelude to a Kill," and "Caravan" will be performed, arranged for solo harp by Chuck Bird and Susan Peters.
Diane McElfish Helle and Linda Nelson (violins), Andrew Pool (viola), and Lee Copenhaver (cello) will perform the 2nd movement of Beethoven's "Razumovsky" String Quartet in F Major, Opus 59, and "Adagio" for String Quartet by James Whitbourne.
"The Arkansas Traveler," "Music for the Story of a Lovesick Skunk," and "Senior Version of 'Jesus Loves Me'" will be performed by Celtic harpist Gretchen Weaver, with Larry Rhodes (bass) and Bennie Keys (drums).
"Moonshiner," "Wreck of the L. C. Waldo," and "The Fox" will be performed by Ben Traverse (guitar, banjo, and vocals).
Jazz pianist Wright McCargar, bassist Dave DeVos, and drummer Alex Hamel perform "Song for My Father," "A Child is Born," "Song D," and "All Blues."
