Donald D. Armstrong Scholarship

The Donald D. Armstrong Scholarship is dedicated to its namesake, whose life- long work was the musical education of students. Mr. Armstrong was Director of Music for the Grand Rapids Public Schools, a member of the Grand Rapids Symphony, and an active member of Local 56. For 2024, a single award of $300.00 will be awarded to a high school Junior based on recommendations from instrumental music instructors. Only one recommendation per school will be accepted and must be submitted by the director. Applications must be received by April 15, 2024. This application must be requested and submitted by a music instructor.
